Mencapap ah bro.

Sometimes I wonder why I took up mass comm in the first place. Honestly, mass communication wasn't exactly in the top of my list. Top three, yes, but the two golden ones were animation and graphics design. After negotiating with my parents, I finally applied for my diploma in mass communication. I got the interview, main bantai je cakap and got a place. In a way, I guess it's really exciting to actually get a place in college/university. 'Cos y'know, tak ramai yang dapat kan, so yeah, I was ecstatic. Syukur alhamdulillah. :)

Then BAM! Semester 1 started. It was sort of like a shock to me. The fact that I was now surrounded by not only girls, but of the opposite gender as well was not the reason of course. I was never the OMG-I-SEE-A-GAI-OMG-DIES-SPAZZES-MELTS kind of girl. Maybe on the inside; who knows. :P HAHA. Naww, it was more of a OH-SHIT-EVERYONE'S-SO-OLD-AND-SCARY kinda thing. And then after that, I kinda died a little inside. -.- I mean, Sri Aman was cool, y'know. Everyone there was different. Some serious, some boring, some total clowns (in a good way lah kan) and some like me - kinda there and sometimes not. I mean, I wasn't exactly invisible, y'know, but I wasn't exactly visible. (It doesn't exactly help that my friends were extremely popular and likable. -_- HAHA LOVE YOU GAIS.) But yeah, I was more of a lurking shadow than a person, you see. And when I saw my batch mates, OH CRAP. They're those extrovert kinds. And then I thought to myself, "I'm gonna be a lurking shadow again." :(

Oh, and the fact that a lot of them were good-looking did not help either. EMO FOREVURRR.

Not that looks are so bloody important in mass comm lah kan. It's more of a bonus. The extra attention, bla bla bla etc. UNTUNG LAAA, haha. :D My self-esteem has dropped a lot ever since I came to Lendu. I constantly think that I'll never be good enough, I will never berjaya because I'm not as out there as the others in this course. I just wanna feel like I belong somewhere in the midst of all this... mass comm-ness. Though I'm glad I met a few good friends here. I love them all. :D My KKS Gang, my roommates, my old school friends, my classmates, some of my SEPRESI friends, seniors, and a few others from other courses who have made my stay here in Lendu better than it should be. Thank you. :)

Until then, I shall try to be as mass comm-ish as I can uolls!
